The EL-Visia system is a structural
glazing system composed of glazed modules forming a continuous
surface with no visible means of support. The system is
characterized by its design flexibility as also its
functionality. EL-Visia offers tope class performances.
The bearing structure are made of an aluminium grid where boxed
mullions strengthen the curtain wall and guarantee installation
of internal partition. The glazed modules inserted into the
gride comprise of glass units and\or panels that are assembled
to an aluminum peripheral frame. The aluminium module frames are
assembled together with silicone bonding to the glass and are
manufactured in the factory under strict quality control.
Compatibility tests of utilized material are carried out in
collaboration with the structural silicone supplier. Non-
visible supports are located at the bottom of every module to
support the dead weight of the glass thus eliminating the
shearing stress on the silicone bonding. All gaskets to achieve
the tightening and thermal break are made of EPDM, which
guaranties quality and durability of the sealing. |
